The Minnesota State Board of Trustees announced on Friday that Minneapolis College English instructor Shannon Gibney has been selected as one of the system’s three 2023 Educators of the Year, the Board’s highest honor for Minnesota State college and university instructors.
Shannon will be recognized along with her fellow Educators of the Year and other Outstanding Educators at the board’s annual awards luncheon on April 19, 2023, and Minneapolis College will also hold a local celebration for Shannon on campus in early May.
